Hey Doy, you have quite a long name so I will just call you Doy. Thanks for sharing.

The aesthetic is okay, nice colours and I like the size of the character + enemies. The art is very basic, with a dynamic background and then just various common shapes pretty much. For a concept, it's not one that you would typically see matched together (wizards and machines), but I think it's an interesting one. Medieval sci-fi sounds very cool. I think that's called retro-futurism -- but this is an extreme case of that. Unfortunately the jumps are <I>really</I> floaty. Really all of the movements feel pretty loose/floaty, but luckily it doesn't have too much of a negative impact or anything.
I think the score points (the yellow blobs) should expire after a few seconds, maybe something generous like 5 seconds. I think that urgency would be better, since they're easy to find I think you should at least make them disappear after a few seconds.

In level 2 I found it very appropriate to learn the wallbounce spell right after killing a machine that could do the same thing. Kudos with that.
Something I've noticed is that "Health, Mana, and Score" all have their place originally, but the numbers accompanying them move with the screen -- however the words don't. I know what the number represent so it's not a problem, but I think the words should be moving as well, and be static.

With the wallbounce spell, if you miss it might take a while before your fire balls 'expire' and then get reloaded. That's kind of a pain, but it keeps my power in check. Also thus far I really feel no incentive to collect points. I like the fact that health doesn't replenish between levels. I was not expecting the boss at the end of level 2, and despite it being relatively easy, it was tense for like a good 7 seconds haha.

After playing 3 levels and accumulating almost 300 points, I died landing on spikes trying to evade a shot from an orange turret.

For whatever reason my score wasn't saved. I probably haven't played enough of this game to give my definitive thoughts, but I didn't enjoy it enough to go back and get further. Hope this helps though, thanks again for sharing.
