Hello friends, I'm Avarise! You can also call me Ava Big Grin

I'm a very small musician and I've been making music for 4 years now. I'm also a digital artist, though lately I haven't put out much artworks ^^'
I'm always glad to give encouragement and positive vibes! Though if asked, I can also help by giving constructive criticism with my limited and informal music theory knowledge.
But beyond all that, I'm just a music-lover like anyone else Big Grin

Heya! I usually make DnB, electronic, and rock music in general, but I do like to delve into other genres!
And ooo I'll check out that weekly topic!

Hello, small musician, nice to meet you. We had a chat at discord earlier, but it's good to see you here at the main crib too. Great to have some more music critics with us, we sorely needs that.

What tools do you use to make your music, if I may ask?

My equipment is all very low budget ^^'
My main DAW is Cockos REAPER, and I just use a bunch of free VSTs and samples that I've accumulated over the years.
I also have a budget $40 mic that I sometimes use to record acoustic instruments. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

Coolio, it seems like we have a fine mix of people who record and those who play virtually here. But on the DAW side, there is a dominant majority of FL users, so it's really nice to get a fresh perspective in here Smile

I have been meaning to rename the weekly FL thread to something more general, so maybe you wanna go over there and write a word or two about some of your favorite VSTs? I'm sure many of our members are constantly looking for some new tools for their musical toolbox.

Here is the thread: <URL url="https://superwerer.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=656&p=1578&sid=221fada2e188d089d5b500cb48ccea2c#p1578"><LINK_TEXT text="viewtopic.php?f=22&t=656&p=1578&sid=221 ... ea2c#p1578">https://superwerer.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=656&p=1578&sid=221fada2e188d089d5b500cb48ccea2c#p1578</LINK_TEXT></URL>

<I>Yes, I know we are shamelessly inviting poor new users to weekly threads now, but we do what we do to survive</I>
