This is a juke title at 160 that uses choped samples from a rare 70s disco record (Ultra High Frequency - We're on the right track). I was planning on making this a soulful house track because that's what artists end up doing with this kind of samples but I was listening to a lot of footwork music at the time and I got inspired, specifically DJ PayPal. You can hear the some resemblance from his tracks if you look him up on soundcloud or bandcamp. I also planned to add a funk break or jungle break to this track but it didn't come out right.
For those of you that don't know, footwork/juke is a style of electronic music that originated from Chicago House music. RP Boo, known as the godfather of footwork, explains in a documentary how, "Juke deprived from DJs and dancers to slowley acheived this tempo of 160 BPM." The dance style was also deprived from early house shuffles to form this complex and fast movement known as footwork.
